Rare version, Model MR30/5 tubular steel cantilever armchair in black leather, designed in the 1920s by the designer and architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe (03.1886 – 08.1969) for Knoll International.

This example was produced by Knoll International circa the 1960s. At that time, the chairs were marked only with a sticker rather than, as with current models, an engraved mark in the frame. The armchair retains its original sticker and is no longer in production today.

Condition report Chrome-plated frame with age-related wear and signs of use. Lacing renewed. The leather shows an authentic age-related patina while remaining soft and structurally sound — full of distinctive vintage charm.
