Postmodern, reduced, sculptural – objects that are suitable for living spaces and at the same time function like works of art within a room. The naming was deliberately chosen by Starck to be humorous, provocative, and intentionally unconventional. Visually provocative, technically innovative, and at the same time functional. Design as an expression of freedom and individuality.
The side table model “MICKVILLE” was designed in 1983 by the French star designer Philippe Starck. It was produced by the Italian company ALEPH / Driade. Made of metal and powder-coated.
The side table offered here were produced 1985.
