Early version of the iconic LC4 chaise longue by Le Corbusier (10/1887–08/1965) & Pierre Jeanneret (03/1896–12/1967).

This chaise longue dates from an early production period in the early 1970s and bears a low four-digit serial number — a lovely detail for collectors of authentic pieces. The original black fur upholstery is still the first one and has been newly reupholstered by a professional workshop.

The headrest roll is also original; it shows a pronounced age patina, and the leather is soft and pleasant to the touch.

The frame shows visible age-related wear and signs of use. The floor glides have been replaced with original Cassina spare parts.

A piece of design history with charm!
