A similar exemplar was shown in the exhibition “Tierisch schön?” at the German Leather Museum in Offenbach from October 3 to May 30, 2021.
Dimitri Omersa designed the elefanth in the mid-1960s. The elephant was manufactured probably by Almazan in Spain.
The piece offered here has an incredibly beautiful age patina. The stitching has been reinforced in a few places in the past. Otherwise, the elephant is stable and the leather is in very good condition. The elephant can be used as a footstool or as a decorative object. WE LOVE IT!
